Rolle is a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Jyväskylä. In June 2017, he joined as Visiting Fellow in the HRM & Employment Relations Group, UCD School of Business. Rolle's visit at UCD is part of an Academy of Finland-funded research project called Industrial Citizenship and Labour Mobility in the EU, a migrant-centered study of Estonia-Finland and Albania-Italy. While in Dublin, Rolle will - for an upcoming article - interview Irish trade union representatives on their views on immigration. He is also currently editing a book on mobility between Finland and Estonia.
Rolle received his PhD from the University of Turku in 2015. In his thesis, Rolle analysed Finnish and Estonian trade unions' approaches to immigration. He holds a personal postdoctoral grant from the Finnish Work Environment Fund for conducting research on highly educated migrants' integration in the Finnish labour market.
Rolle's research interests lie at the crossroads of migration and employment relations research. His university profile provides further information.
